Danielle Muscato is a civil-rights activist, public speaker, debater, writer, podcast host, pundit, and transgender woman from the United States. She has appeared on various national news media including CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NPR, and many others representing progressive political and social perspectives. Long Bio (additional 400 words): Ms. Muscato is the woman behind the December 2016 viral "tweetstorm" directed at Donald Trump on Twitter, following the President-elect's complaints about a Saturday Night Live skit. Her tweetstorm was featured on NBC News, NPR's "Here & Now," Huffington Post, VH1, Yahoo!, Pink News, Salon, Raw Story, and many more.
A civil rights activist since 2011, Ms. Muscato has also appeared on or been quoted in Rolling Stone, People, Time, The New York Times, The Economist, SPIN, Entertainment Weekly, Billboard Magazine, and on BBC News, CNN, CBS, NPR, MSNBC, ABC, MTV News, VH1, "The Real Story" with Gretchen Carlson, The O'Reilly Factor, Huffington Post Live, Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Raw Story, RT, Howard Stern, Sean Hannity, and more. An avid traveler, she has visited more than 170 cities in 8 countries across two continents. In 2004, Muscato founded the website FreeFiona.com, a campaign to Sony/BMG Music for the release of Fiona Apple's allegedly shelved third album, "Extraordinary Machine." The campaign was a success and the album was released to the public on October 4th, 2005, debuting at #7 on the Billboard charts and later earning RIAA "Gold" certification and a Grammy Award nomination.
